We from Evernote.info reviewed Evernote's newest beta release for Blackberry.
The first releases of Evernote for Blackberry was quite basic and rudimentary. The application was fine for note-taking, but to view notes, it relied on the Blackberry browser. Moreover, there were many reports of networking problems.
The previous version was released over a year ago. So the latest version was more than welcome. Changes in the new version include:A native BlackBerry note viewer and note list and note viewer. So no more launching the browser!Improved networking, which hopefully addresses some of the of the networking troubles some of you have encountered.
These two great applications seem to have a lot in common. They both save information in the cloud and synchronize the information for you seamlessly on all your computers and mobile devices.
Evernote provides a great cloud-based service for note taking and clipping that lets you store information for access from any Web-connected device. Unfortunately, amidst all the clever suggestions for using Evernote are several very risky tips. The problem: the only thing separating your Evernote collection from prying eyes is a username and password. If you're the victim of a phishing scam or password-stealing malware, that Evernote collection could provide a one-stop-shop for all your sensitive data.
With the growing desire to capture information and access it later in a simple manner, a problem yet to be solved has come up: organization. Organizing our digital lives can be a tough procedure, but thankfully many services are available out there to help us take control of our data. Evernote is one of them, which makes note-taking simple and intuitive. Evernote allows you to create text notes, take snapshots, record audio notes and upload files. Once synchronized with the Evernote server, you may access your notes wherever you are and whenever you need them. With a Web interface and applications available for the PC and Mac as well as BlackBerry, iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile and Palm webOS, Evernote has you always covered. But how well does the BlackBerry application perform?
